10 of the nerdiest and awesome(ist) wedding invitations we could find!
We scoured the deep and dark corners of the internet to find the coolest and nerdiest wedding invitations out there! Our quest was met with a lot of great contendors, but these are our favorites.
Feel free to share and reblog this for others to enjoy!
1. You had me at I Am Legend..

2. At least we know their wedding won’t be out of style…errr

3. I wonder what their kids will look like?

4. I am gonna let you finish…but our wedding invitation did it better

5. I hope they met over a game of Wii Tennis!

6. Who says dinosaurs don’t have all the fun?

7. How could we not post a wedding invitation that features binary code?

8. For future notice, it pays not to piss off your mother/future mother in law.

9. This has been floating around the internet for a while, but for those who haven’t seen it, it pays to be a graphic designer bride.

10. This could be the laziest invitation we have seen, but we like the effort.

Mikey & Felicity’s Wedding
Our favorite JP is keeping us busy this week! This is probably one of our favorite shoots of the week. We love how real all the photos are and how you can tell everyone is having a great time. Family, friends and even dogs were all seen with smiles on their faces.
The bottom line is this is a great raw and authentic wedding that is often overlooked in a lot of the shoots we see.
More at Jonas’s website.
P.S. We know this isn’t the typical shoot we post, so reblog if you like it!

Toby & Henry’s Engagement Photos
Here is a fresh set of engagement photos from Kate Murphy. It is really great to see engagement photos that capture the cute and simple everyday lives of the couple. This shoot uses a great color structure and we love how the red and blue outfits pop on the white background.
Visit Kate’s blog for the full set.

Anthony and Stephanie’s Sydney Wedding
This wedding shoot is breathtaking. We love the Sydney Opera House hanging in the backdrop of all these great shots.
We are going to let the pictures speak for themselves - but make sure to jump over to Jonas’s blog for the full shoot.

Gina & Tom’s Winter Wedding
We know this shoot has been posted up a few places around the interwebs, but we couldn’t resist giving it a little love on The Brideline also!
So much we love about this shoot, for starters how the talented Kate Murphy is able to take us through a story. We start with the snowy backdrop, followed by the invitation set and end up with an amazing wedding day.
We love Gina’s wedding dress - especially considering it was her mothers wedding dress that she altered. The vintage Rolls Royce is also a great touch :)

Natali & Brian’s Palm Spring Wedding
Oh, Jessica Claire, how we have missed your amazing photo shoots (it is good to be back)!
When JC says this is going to be a good shoot prior to us scrolling through - we always take her word for it. This one did not leave us disappointed in anyway.
The atmosphere of this Palm Spring wedding truly ties the whole ceremony and reception into one blissful ball. Jessica has a touch for candidly capturing the emotion that goes into a big day like this and these pictures really show that. We posted a few of our favorites, but many more great ones can be seen on her site.
We also once again have some great detail shots of the invitations, place setting and much more. Future brides should get some great inspiration from it.
For a full list of vendors involved in the wedding and a full set of the pictures - make sure to head over to Jessica’s blog.

Emily & Adrian’s Dream Wedding
We love photoshoots that are able to incorporate all the small details that go into planning a wedding, typically this will be a shot of the invitation but every once in a while its more.
Paper + Lace shot this amazing shoot for Emily & Adrian’s wedding day and it is quite breathtaking. We love the combination of black and white mixed with color photos. Some great candid moments were captured that really show how great photographers they are.
This shoot is worth clicking over for!

Todd & Alyda’s Las Vegas Wedding
Ah it is good to be back!
We love Las Vegas weddings for many reasons - the awesome vintage feels, the desert backdrop and the great characters. Our favorite photographer Jonas Peterson posted up this awesome shoot and we couldn’t help but post it. It is not everyday you can feature a wedding that had an Elvis impersonator.
We got a lot of very amazing elegant weddings through here - it is nice to see something more informal.
Check out Jonas’s site for the full shoot.
P.S. Show us how much you missed us with a reblog!
